Time needs to slow down!

Carter is 4 months old! Where has the time gone? He weighed in at 16.5 lbs, is 26 1/2 in. long and his head is 16 3/4 in. He is going to be a tall, skinny boy! He is smiling, giggling, rolling over and trying so hard to sit up. He loves watching his big brother run around the house and is such an easy baby!

Trying so hard to sit up "I think I can, I think I can!"

The BIG 3-0

On May 26th, I crossed the big milestone of turning 30! I was excited the weeks leading up to this b/c for me is was my final step to being an adult. In my 20's I got my degree, had a career, got married and had 2 children. Now I am excited to enjoy those accomplishments in my 30's and see where life takes me. I did however wake up that morning with the "Oh my gosh, I'm 30!" and felt a little sorrow but after looking back at my 20's I am happy to move on. We celebrated this milestone with a get together at 8.O restaurant and bar in Sundance Sq. (Fort Worth). Great friends, good food, and a fun night of dancing... the best way to celebrate!

Bath time

One of Carter's favorite things to do is bath time. As soon as he hits the water he is in complete relaxation. He smiles, coos and sings like crazy. As soon as we take him out, the crying begins. That is how it has been since his first bath. Here are a few pictures of him doing his thing. Yes, his hair has green shampoo on it, it is Selsun Blue. That was recommended by his Pediatrician.

He LOVES his hands and tries every day to fit the entire fist in his mouth.

Of course I had to show another picture of his adorable smile.

5 years!!

Friday, April 17th was our wedding anniversary! We have been married 5 glorious years. In those years we have lived in 2 cities, 2 homes and now have 2 boys. We have been very blessed and look forward to what the future holds.

We celebrated by having a yummy steak dinner at the Old Hickory Steakhouse in the Gaylord Texan resort.

Easter

So I know I am a little late on these pictures from Easter but better late than never!

He asked "Where are more eggs?"

A great weekend

This past weekend was a great one for the Hudson home. The weather was great (a little windy but great) and so spirits were high. Saturday Connor and I spent the day cleaning up the front flower beds and planting flowers. We got out his new scooter and he took off like he had been doing it for years!
We then spent the evening at Grapevine Mills mall shopping for Easter outfits for the boys and had dinner at the Rainforest Cafe. Connor LOVES that place and every time we go it is like he has never seen it before just in amazement over all of the animals, the music and the "storms". Watching him have a great time brought big laughs and smiles to both Joseph and I.
Sunday we took the boys to see the Easter Bunny. There was no line, so that was nice and Connor was so excited to see "the rabbit". We tried hard to get Connor to have a big smile but with every Santa and Easter Bunny picture, out comes the cheesy grin!

I also tried many times to get Carter's smile on camera. He loves to ham it up for me laughing, cooing and smiling but as soon as I put that camera in front of him that all goes away! So this is the best I could get so far.

As you can see, he looks nothing like his brother anymore! We are still trying to figure out who he looks more like. I am leaning towards me.

Super Heroes

The other night Connor and I ran around the house in our "super capes". We had a great time saving baby monkeys (according to Connor). Having boys is so much fun. I need to find him some real super hero capes.
