6 months old!

I can not believe Carter is already 6 months old! Time has flown by. The little guy got 3 shots and only cried for about 5 seconds after the third one then gave the nurse a huge smile. He is a tough little cookie! He weighed 17.4 lbs and is 26 in. long. He has been teething for a few weeks now. His 2 front bottom teeth are bulging their way through the gums and we can't wait for them to be here. Carter is a good little eater and likes all of the veggies and fruits we have introduced to him. Carter can sit up great on his own and has started pushing himself backwards when he is laying on the floor. He loves playing with all of his toys and he still loves watching his big brother. I know they are both excited for the day they can play together.

Sitting up!

The new and exciting thing in the Hudson home right now is that Carter can sit up on his own! Sure, the sittings are for a couple minute spurts, but he is getting there! He loves sitting up too and feels like he is finally part of the action.

Also, here a recent picture of the boys. We are having such a hard time trying to decide who Carter looks like. At a glance both boys look alike but when you look closely... they really don't! They have different eyes and nose's, (Connor has Emily's eyes and nose) their lips are different and Carter has a more defined chin. We can't wait to see what he looks like as a toddler. We also have a feeling he is going to be taller than his big brother.

Jumping fool

After putting Carter in his jumper for over a month, he finally got the concept tonight! He jumped away for almost an hour.
Connor was a BIG jumper and was bouncing away at 4 months old.
Sorry the video is so long. Enjoy!

First family trip

We took our first family of 4 trip to the Hill Country Hyatt in San Antonio, TX. We vacationed there last year and I have been a few times growing up, so we knew this would be a great place to step out of our box and take a trip. We went with another family, the Majcher's, that have 2 boys, so Connor had playmates to help keep him entertained. We had a wonderful time and now know how easy it is to travel with 2 boys. Connor got to enjoy the Camp Hyatt, we roasted marshmallows one night and spent the days floating the lazy river, playing in the sand and getting some sun. It was a much needed relaxing getaway. We can't wait to go back!

You can't come all the way to San Antonio and not visit the Riverwalk! So we spent one evening walking along the river and enjoying a Mexican dinner.
