Summer has arrived

Fort Worth is heating up and what better way to welcome it than with a big plastic pool! The boys had a great time splashing around and sliding into the cold water.

Fort Worth Science Museum

The Science Museum recently opened a new Children's museum. I took the boys to check it out. Both of them had a great time! Connor can't wait to go back and we know we will have many more memories there through the years.

They had an area for fossil digging. Connor loved finding the bones.

There was a play grocery store where the kids could ring up food. Most of our time was spent here. Carter did the shopping and Connor rang it all up.

Connor got a bike!

The time has come for Connor to break free from the tricycle and get a big boy bike! Joseph took him to pick it out and he was more than excited!

He has asked to ride it every day since!

Summer is on it's way

Spring is in the air and summer is right around the corner. We have been taking advantage of the warm weather the last few weeks and getting outside as much as possible while we can bare it.
Here are some pictures from our last 2 visits (yes we have been twice in 3 weeks) to the zoo and a great time we had with friends at our neighborhood spray park.

Another trip to the zoo with my great friend Shannon and her little girl, Ella.

Playa Del Carmen

Joseph and I decided to celebrate our 6th wedding anniversary with a luxury trip to Playa Del Carmen. We stayed at the adult only, all-inclusive resort of The Royal Playa Del Carmen. It was a much needed trip and great getaway from reality. Most of the time we enjoyed reading by the pool or on the beach and each day we took a nice walk along the beach. It was beautiful!!
Our room was beach front, so we stepped out right to our own private cabana.

One fun adventure we did during our stay was parasailing.
